Cybul Multipoint Roll Cages Specifications

The Polish company Cybul, which specialises in automotive metalwork, produces FIA Appendix J compliant multi-point roll cages for the most popular sports cars. Offering additional protection for occupants in the event of an accident, this safety element is essential for vehicles used on the racetrack or in rallies.

Cybul uses seamless E355 steel tubes with a diameter of 45 mm and a thickness of 2.5 mm for the main hoop and 40 mm x 2 mm for the secondary hoops, in accordance with FIA standards. To ensure full compatibility, the vehicle interiors are first scanned in 3D and then the design is developed using 3D CAD software. The roll cage tubes are designed to be positioned as close to the bodywork as possible to minimise their impact on the field of vision.

These tubes are laser-cut in-house and also have laser-engraved numbering. Cybul uses a CNC mandrel bending machine to guarantee maximum precision (+/- 0.1 degrees) and almost no ovality of the tubes.

The Cybul range is available in several versions, from the simplest to the most elaborate structure, with the possibility of integrating Nascar type bars for the doors (FIA Appendix J approved only for drifting events). Each roll cage is delivered unpainted, ready to weld, with a detailed assembly diagram indicating the placement of the tubes. All the tubes, reinforcement plates and gussets have been designed to fit perfectly to the structure and to facilitate assembly.
